  • Vineyard Specifics: Decomposed granite and clay soils. This is a very unique vineyard site within the valley as it lies within a tight fold that undulates and slopes steeply to the northwest. It is also the first vineyard site one encouters when driving up in to the Valle de Guadalupe from the Pacific.

  • Other Notes:

    • To visit this winery and sit down with Veronica and Nathaniel is to experience the poetry of human experience. From the chickens and goats roaming their fields to the countenance of Nathaniel and Veronica themselves, one feels as if they are within the writings of D.H. Lawrence when visiting this estate. They make wines from grapes that suffer, are given the bare minimum to survive and thus yield extremely expressive utterly transparent sense of place.
